When all documents are received along with the permit fee, an appointment will be scheduled to meet with the Compliance Inspector to take measurements of the driveway location. Property owner or agent may call within 1 week for confirmation of physical address & construction specifications for access. The Access/Driveway Permit is issued at the time the 9-1-1 Rural Address is determined.
If property owner can not meet with the Compliance Inspector a designated agent can be assigned to meet with the Compliance Inspector and sign for the permit. To down load designated agent form click here.
Please note: Designated agent will have authority to obtain all permits and make all decisions.
The 9-1-1 Rural Address and Access/Driveway Permit must be obtained before applying for Development, Septic and/or Well Permits.
Access/Driveway Permits are issued for county roads, if an Access/Driveway Permit is needed on a State Highway you must contact TxDot at 830-249-2262.
