Brush Disposal & Mulch Pick up

The county Brush Site is closed until further notice.

Drop-off Information

County residents may drop off their brush and clippings free of charge Thursday through Saturday.

Mulch and Fertilizer Pick-up Information

Mulch is made from dropped-off brush using a tub grinder that is capable of handling limbs larger than most people are able to cut and load. The mulch is available to any county resident for a requested donation of $5 per pickup load. This donation helps offset the expense of operation, including the loading of the mulch into your truck.

Also, organic fertilizer (horse manure) is available for the same low $5 donation.

Note

All county residents are encouraged to take part in this recycling endeavor.

No commercial drop-offs or pick-ups are permitted, except for local governments and utilities.

The site is open to the public on Thursday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm.
