all applications must be mailed out daily, we cannot hold anything overnight

Requirements

Valid photo I.D. for anyone 16 years and older
Proof of Citizenship

Birth Certificate
Naturalization Certificate
Report of Birth Abroad
Previous U.S. Passport

2 passport photos

Locations for photos located near the courthouse: (HEB, UPS Store, Walgreens & Walmart)

2 personal checks or money orders for fees

Temporary checks cannot be accepted

Applying for passports for minor children (15 years and younger)

Child and both parents must be present at time of application

Exceptions: If a Notarized Statement of Consent is available from the parent who cannot be present or original custody/divorce papers showing parent has the right to apply for a passport for the child or that parent is the single and only conservator.

Original Birth Certificate

This must be turned in, even if the child has had a previous U.S. passport

Fees

Passport Book (Valid for all travel outside of the U.S.)

$110.00 for persons age 16 and older
$80.00 for children age 15 and younger

Passport Card

(can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry NOT VALID FOR INTERNATIONAL AIR TRAVEL)

$30.00 for persons age 16 and older
$15.00 for children age 15 and younger

Expedite Fees (the US Dept of State recommends expediting any application that includes travel plans occuring in less than 10 weeks)

$60.00 expedite fee
$14.96 overnight postage fee (only for passport books)

(You will also need to bring an EXPRESS MAIL envelope with $18.30 postage from your local USPS Office)

Execution Fees

$25.00 per application (can be paid by check, money order, cash or credit card)
