COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) – NOTICES AND ORDERS
ATTENTION: The District Clerk's Office will be closed to the public until further notice. The District Clerk and the Deputy Clerks will continue to work in the office processing efilings, answering calls, faxes, and emails in an effort to continue to serve the public. If you cannot avoid coming to the office in-person, we would ask that you please call ahead and make an appointment. All trials scheduled in March and April are cancelled. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
Attention Attorneys and/or Pro Se Parties Filing for Divorce or Annulment: The Bureau of Vital Statistics (BVS) form must be completed and given to the District Clerk's office at the time the Final Decree is signed pursuant to the Health & Safety Code §194.002. The BVS form is not optional and must be completed pursuant to the Code.
