Development Information

Kendall County is dedicated to the safety and welfare of all Kendall County residences. The completion of all permit applications ensures that regulations set forth by the governing entities comply with all standards. The property owner or assigned designated agent can obtain all required applications.

Development Permit Application

A Development Permit is required to proceed with any property development and the issuance of septic or well permits.

The 911 Rural Address and Access Permit must be issued before you can obtain a Development Permit.

A lighting permit shall be submitted with the development permit. The lighting permit and development permit are issued concurrently.

Property Restrictions, if any, in unincorporated areas are recorded on the deed filed at the County Clerk's office. You can contact the Clerk's office at 830-331-8233 with any questions.
